Keeping Herds Healthy
GrainCorp Feeds New Zealand
New Zealand’s dairy industry exports more than 95% of its milk to over 100 countries worldwide. When we say we’re helping to feed the world, we mean it.
What we do
We source the best local and imported feeds and ingredients to offer a range of liquid, in-shed, bulk and calf feeds to suit a variety of dairy feeding systems, as well as a range of goat feeds. We partner with farmers to help improve on-farm production, herd reproduction, performance and profitability.
GrainCorp Feeds also offers customers access to a free online milk budgeting, monitoring and prediction tool called Tracker™ to enable farmers to make fact based, informed feed and management decisions. Tracker™ enables users to set milk production targets, then uses real time milk production data to help track performance against budget, helping to simplify and optimise the decision-making process. Along with milk quantity, this also includes milk composition and quality parameters, with a customisable alert function available. For those that enter the correct data, Tracker™ can also provide real and forecast margins over the cost of feed. From there, it’s easy to compare seasonal data and identify gaps or areas for herd improvement.
Pro Cow blends
We have a range of products to suit your feeding system whether it be silo, bulk, in-shed, feed pad or mixer wagon. From basic commodities like Palm Kernel Extract (PKE) through to much more high-end grain-based and mineralised blends, we have a product to suit every nutritional need and price point.
Our products include fibre-based, protein-based or starch-based feeds to help complement seasonal variation in pastures, additives to improve health or prevent illness, commodity blends, dry blends with Molasses and minerals included, liquid feeds and transition pellets to support cows in the weeks before and after calving, and calf feed.
We have strict quality control over our supply chain, so you can be sure that our products are high-quality and exceed the standards set by the dairy industry in New Zealand. You can count on us to keep your herds healthier through smarter nutrition.
We have a strong regional network of people throughout New Zealand that specialise in dairy feeds within their region. Our customers can tap into this expertise to help with any challenges around feeds or commercial aspects related to dairy feed solutions. You’ll often find our dedicated people out on the road visiting farms, assisting in pasture testing and helping customers solve their feed challenges.
